Postgraduate studies that I consider pursuing in the future.

 

Making the decision to choose a graduate program is a task that must be made with certain criteria. Not all graduate programs will give us the same benefits.

The first step is to be clear about the objectives that we want to achieve with the graduate program that we will take, then there are certain important considerations that we must take into account before choosing the university institution and the graduate program that interests us.

Before writing this blog, I did not know if I was going to do a graduate degree, it did not appeal to me, so I investigated what graduate degrees I can do in the future and chose a master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences. I chose it because I would be able to identify problems, propose and implement solutions, participate creatively in applied research in the area of pharmaceutical sciences, interacting with researchers from various disciplines in the area of health and the professional environment.

I would like to study part time because I would also work in a pharmacy to be able to become independent and to be able to raise money to open my own pharmacy where I live.

I would like to study in Chile, specifically at the University of Chile, since I like their study plan and it seems like a good university. Also, I would also like to study abroad perhaps another specialty, who knows what the future will hold.

My future job.

 

Well, now I am in the fourth year of a university degree in chemistry and pharmacy. Today I will tell you how I knew what I wanted to work on.

last year I did my internship at the "Cruz Verde" pharmacy. I really liked the work that the pharmaceutical chemist does, I found it entertaining and it helped me to know a part of the career that I am studying.

In the place where I live there are no nearby pharmacies, that is why in the future I would like to open a pharmacy where I live. This will help people in terms of acquiring medications.

To achieve this, I would work in a pharmacy to be able to obtain the money to open my own pharmacy, since the salary of the pharmacist chemist in a pharmacy is between $ 800,000 to $ 1,200,000. In addition, I would learn how it is administered and what I must do, that is, I would gain experience.

In pharmacy, the pharmaceutical chemist has the task of supervising all the dispensing of medicines and in this way protecting the health of the population (guidance on therapy, clarifying doses, dosage, storage, interactions, among others).

A career related topic.

 

Thousands of young people decide to study a professional career every year. The vast majority, when choosing, have not reached the age of 20, have little or no work experience and sometimes do not understand the importance of the choice they are about to make.

For some, choosing a profession is a natural process, since from a young age they showed interest or ability towards a certain area and little by little they strengthened their conviction to dedicate themselves to a special activity.

Today I will tell you about my experience when choosing a university career. Well, in my second year of high school, I wanted to study dentistry. I don't even remember why I wanted to study that.

Then in third year I wanted to study something related to chemistry, since I was good at it. At that time my chemistry teacher got sick, so a substitute arrived, who was a pharmaceutical chemist. He told us anecdotes that happened to him in the different jobs he had. This is why I decided to study chemistry and pharmacy, because thanks to that, this career caught my attention.

Right now, if I wasn't studying chemistry and pharmacy, I would have liked to have studied architecture. This race attracts my attention.

Films.

First, a film is any audiovisual work fixed in any medium, whose development is defined as a work of creation, production, assembly and post-production and, furthermore, is intended, first of all, for commercial exploitation in movie theaters.

All the films that are created can be placed in some category, for example, Drama, horror, comedy, among many others. The movies that I like the most are the comedies since they amuse me a lot. One of my favorites is "Just Go With It", it is a romantic comedy. If you have not seen it, I recommend it, you will have a good time.

Actually, before writing this blog, I was never interested in knowing who was directing the movie I was watching, but now I realize that it is very important since it is the person who gives the instructions to the actors, decides the scene of the camera, oversees the set, costumes, and all other functions necessary to complete the shoot.

For me one of the best film directors is Steven Spielberg, the director of the movie "Saving Private Ryan."

The best concert.

 

Music is an expression that allows us to share emotions. Without a doubt, going to a concert is a unique and satisfying experience.

Well, first of all, I've only been to two concerts and one of those I was eight years old, so it's easy to say which one is the best.

Two years ago I went to see Morat at the “teatro teletón”. I wasn't planning on going, but a friend unexpectedly invited me. It was a great day. At that time I only knew two songs, but I fell in love with their music.

I will tell you a little about this group so that you know them. Morat is a Latin pop and folk musical group from Bogotá, Colombia, created in 2015. It is made up of four members, who have known each other since they were five years old. The members of the band used to go to a farm on the outskirts of Bogotá called "La Morat", where the band did their first rehearsals. Before adopting the name Morat, they were known as Malta. But later, when they went to sign with Universal, a Brazilian band was already registered as Malta, so they changed their name to Morat.

A country that I would like to visit.

I would like to visit Italy because it has many interesting cities to visit. First I would start with Venice since I would like to tour the city through the canals, it would be a nice experience. Then he would visit Milan to see the Gothic cathedral and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, which houses the mural "La última cena" by Leonardo da Vinci. He would also visit Bologna to see the Fountain of Neptune and the Basilica of San Petronio. In Florence I would visit the Dome and the sculpture of "David" by Michelangelo. Finally, I would visit Rome, the capital of Italy, to see the Colosseum, the Museums and the Vatican city.
